I've been BUSY!

So glad to have had most of the weekend off, there was so much going on! Between visiting family members and taking our anual fall hike to the falls....I squeezed in some scrapping time!

Some Halloween "Shape" cards:

This challenge was to make a "Tacky" card!

DD on her first day of school, uses tons of flowers for a crop challenge and all paper popsicle kit supplies.

More challenges from the recent online crop at Love Bug Scrapbooking! Those ladies really know how to throw a crop!!!!! Loads of fun and plenty of challenges to choose from!

This one is to use a sticker, no alpha stickers on a card!

This one to use more than 10 brads!

This is a new technique I had never tried! Very cool, the crackle glass effect made by heat embossing UTEE a few times over.

This challenge was to use Prima Paintables!!! Fortunately, I had some that I hadn't used yet! Great challenge to get me to pull them out!

This next card was for a challenge using a die cut! Pretty simple but kinda cute I think!
Finally, I was able to pass the baby album (minus a first birthday page) to one of my best friends! This page is for the babys' Christening. It will hold 2 4x6 photos!
And lastly, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month....I would like to share one of my favorite pages that I made for a family members album! Unfortunately the photo is pretty dark, but the page is really a beautiful shade of pink....full of pink Prima flowers!

Sugar N Spice Kits ROCK!!!

Finally, after a very busy month...I've been able to really start digging into my September kits. This kit is fabulous, from Sugar N Spice Scrapbooking. The paper is wonderful!

This layout is for a friends baby album. I popped in my DD's photo just for the sake of having a photo there....but it is meant to display the little guys first Halloween!
The second layout include a pic of me! Taken yesterday by my DD who loves to play with her camera! I thought the pic wasn't "that bad" LOL....so I borrowed it for my page! I submitted this one for a challenge over at the Love Bug Scrapbooking weekend crop. They had a weekend jam packed with fun, creative challenges.....and lots of them!

Wahoo!!!

I made "Layout of the Week" over at Paper Popsicles!!! Thanks for choosing my page!

New cards to share!

Sometimes the packaging is so pretty, I just can't toss it! This card was made with the insert of some felt thickers. I folded the cardstock, trimmed the end with my fiskars threading water punch for the pretty scallops then decorated with a die cut butterfly. The center of the butterfly is made from the black top of the packaging! Turned out pretty cute for paper I was just going to toss into the recycling bin!

Paper Popsicles is at it again with their "must have" kits. This month they came out with 2 amazing card kits. These are the cards I made with one of the kits! I still have the creative stamps and loads of scraps left to make more cards in the future! Check out the fall card kit at their website...the link is http://www.paperpopsicles.com/

I missed the spring crop with my friends down under at S4L because of my hectic work schedule! Then having trouble with the modem and internet connection didn't help much either! I did manage to create a springy card and included a cute butterfly that Beccy sent to me!!! I sparkled it up with the copic markers I received last week and voila.....even though it's fall here....I still love a spring card!

A few cards for a challenge at http://www.lovebugscrapbooking.com/ , and I had fun fun fun making these! I love this BG paper, the colors of fall are my favorite!!!

Back in the Groove of Things

With the girls back in school, I've had much more free time to play with my scrap stuff!

In the past few days, I've completed a small Kaiser Tag album, a few cards and a few layouts for challenges! I also picked up some neat storage cubes from the local Michaels' store and have been rearranging things. I should post some recent pictures of my tiny space soon. So tiny...not the perfect room ...but I love it none the less!

These items were made with supplies provided from http://www.lovebugscrapbooking.com/ 's August kit. The Kaiser Album is from an eBay store called Paper Patch Crafts.

The thank you card:

I've also spend some time playing with some great kits from http://www.paperpopsicles.com/ This page and small album are made with the supplies in the August Mini Kit.

These last layouts and cards use supplies from a previous Months Mini Kit from http://www.paperpopsicles.com/ Such cute papers!

More Challenges and Layouts for my Albums

I've been trying hard to squeeze in some scrapping time! Getting the girls ready for back to school, taking a short family vacation, trying to keep up with the house work has kept me busy. Now, the girls are back at school and I have a few more days left of my vacation so I'm taking this time to scrap some of our summer memories.

Several of the websites I frequent hold monthly or weekly challenges. It's a wonderful way to put my kits to use and scrap some great photos!
