The Last of The Wedding Challenges

It's been so much fun participating in the Wedding Crop! Great challenges by the hostess, thanks so much! Here are the last few I completed!

I have to note here that the paper choices (the 2 larger squares and the wide strip down the left side of the layout are lifted from a DT member at Art Freckles. Then I went in my own sort of....direction...but I thank Kim for the inspiration)
Made my very own lollipop flowers here! Love those things!

I Love the Rain....

...But I love rainbows even more!!! This is the view from my back deck this evening! I wish I was able to get a shot of it all in one view...but it was HUGE! ....quick pic, I was getting raindrops on my lens!!!

I laugh as I post these 2 pages....of the same child! She's always so silly and smiley and usually very giggly!! This birthday page is made with some awesome supplies from the newest Lovebug Kit and is for one of the Wedding crop challenges. Scrapping With the Oldies~Week 5

Week 5 asks for

• Cosmo Cricket papers older than 2009...I used "Wanted"...the paper I'm using throughout my Texas Album.
• Tim Holtz Grungeboard...I used letters and spritzed them with the "mystery item"
• Basic Grey Rub Ons

I waited last minute to do this one, the glue is still wet and it's pretty simple....but it's one more page in my album! The journaling reads, "Happiness is when friends fly from miles away for a visit! I was so happy to see my best friend. April 25, 1997" The pic of me was taken in the car just after DH and I went to the airport to pick her up! That was a wonderful visit....more than 12 years ago....she's still one of my very best friends but unfortunately still miles away! Love ya Kym!

Week 4 of Scrapping with the Oldies at AF

I am having a blast Scrapping with the Oldies over at Art Freckles! It's nice to use up some older stuff, sorting through my stash and finding stuff I forgot I even had! This is my layout for Week 4. Includes 7 gypsies paper, flowers, maya road chipboard and of course the mystery item which took me a while to unscramble (the decorative pin)....the first time I've ever used a pin on a layout.

A Project & NSD Challenge Layout to Share

Much of these new Goodies were bought from LoveBugScrapbooking....on of my favorite online stores and kit clubs! Put them all together on a blank chipboard canvas given to me by my friend Mandi and a lovely gift for my friend Colette was created! Here it is! I gave it to her with her scrappy goodies for her birthday! She loved it!

Another NSD challenge, this one is by Kelli at Art Freckles! I managed to complete this one in less than 45 minutes! Whew, made it in just in time!

This next very sparkly page was made for the Scrappin' With the Oldies challenge over at AF. I have some older Autumn Leaves paper and buttons, Queen & Co. Felt Fusion, and a 'mystery' item of the week. Fun challenges!

Lastly, the pages I created with my amazing Lovebug Scrapbooking April/09 kit! I added a few cardstock backrounds when I was running low on pp, and a few flowers here and there...but most of it came from either the kit or the add-ons! Wonderful value in these kits!!! Denise does a great job coordinating them!
