Scrap Friendzy Bonus Challenges & Other Stuff

I am having a blast at summer camp! I was voted into week 2 and I'm thrilled about that! Thanks to all who voted for me!!! It's not too late to join the fun, there are Raks for the weekly challenges! Come play!

Then I had these 8x10 canvases lying about my scraproom just waiting to be used! I needed a few small wall hanging for my bedroom....so out came the suede and blue glimmermist, then I added a few Hambley rub-ons that I've been hanging onto for a while! I like that they are so simple but pretty too!

And...a birthday celebration tonight for my friend Josee! She's the gal in the B.F.F. page I made for challenge #1 of Camp Friendzy! I pulled out some dies I bought at Scrapfest and made this cute card! I used some of my textured cardstock, and embossed the dress with my new Tim Holtz embossing folders! Love that the texture is so pronounced...he did awesome with these! The lace is Webster and the flower a Prima of course!

The first challenge was to include 3 circle elements and an arrow! I scrapped some pics of a very good friend, here is my page!

I used circles cut from paper, circle shaped Prima rhinestones, circle brads and a rub on arrow!

I've been slacking at scrapping and I miss it terribly! Too much work, no time to play! I did manage to play with a few new things last weekend and made my Mom this card!

Bits of My Space

While at Scrapfest a few weekends ago, my friend Jackie was on a hunt for a stamp shelf! Lucky for me....we found two...yes TWO of these drawers! So I was fortunate enough to have one too! This is the before picture (Courtesy of Jackie aka Lambcrop)...I had already started painting mine!

And this is the "after" picture. It is not full yet...when it is, there won't be so much brown! I might add more paper bits inside the squares to add more colour! But it is hanging in my scraproom and serving its' function! I used MM paint, some distress inks, Prima blue Rosettes, a scrap ribbon and a Whimsy button from My Little Bit of Whimsy.

While I'm updating, I might as well share more bits of my room! Some of my favourites!

A box of cards for my Mom. I make loads of cards, and sometimes too many to use myself! I've donated some to causes, given some as gifts and this last bunch was to replenish my Moms' card stash!
