~My Friends Know Me Well~

Four of my girlfriends took me out the other night to celebrate my birthday!!!! Wow, they chose some pretty amazing gifts for me! I was overwhelmed with their generosity! Jackie finds the most unique and pretty things browsing etsy (check out those gorgeous handmade lollipop flowers and the most adorable pear shaped pin cushion ever....perfect for my fancy scrapping pins....and the ones she picked up from "My Little Bit of Whimsy")

Josee was really smart and not being much of a scrapper...she enlisted the help of Jackie (aka Lambcrop) to do some scrappy shopping for her! Whoo hoooo .....that awesome Martha double loop punch, some fabulous Primas (but aren't all Primas fabulous!) and then she picked out a really wonderful smelling candle in an apple cannister! I LOVE apples...this is perfect!!!!

My friend Colette, who also loves to scrap gave me some WRM papers (that I didn't have), some new die cuts which I've been having loads of fun with (ESPECIALLY the Poinsettia...I've made a few cards using that die cut already)....and look at that oh so cute Gingerbread stamp!

Guylaine, gave me that so very comfy t-shirt which I LOVE!!!!! And some salon quality shampoo and conditionner.....that I have to hide from the girls or it will disappear!!! hehehe

Thanks girls for the lovely time and the AMAZING gifts!!! You know I love ya'll!!!!

Wacky Wednesday

Every Wednesday on the Paper Popsicles Blog, a new sketch from one of the DT members is revealed! Created a card from Wacky Wednesdays' sketch and your name could be chosen for a RAK at the end of the month. I usually create something but more often than not....I forget to post it or even photograph it for that matter! But tonight is Tuesday, and I remembered!!!!

My fabulous friend Colette sent me this "Owloween" Card today!!!! I was so happy to see it! Thanks so much!!!!! It is absolutely adorable!

Inspired by purple and my AF kit (That kit is LOADED with Halloween papers)...I came up with this page! I have pretty much scrapped all my Halloween pics so I am digging out some oldies. I think I am about 14 years old in this photo! I remember that pink hair spray stuff pretty much dyed my hair a light shade of pink...took about 2 or 3 months before it was completely out!
Here is a Halloween card that I made for my coworkers...I'll bring it in with a yummy box of Halloween goodies! This card is based on the Wednesday card sketch at Paper Popsicles.

Therapeutic Thursday at Paper Popsicles

Lynda posted a great sketch on the Paper Popsicles Blog for Therapeutic Thursday. Here is my take on the sketch, once again using some of the fun Pink Paisley papers from my AF kit!

Wear them again!!! I was a witch several times for Halloween, and here are a few examples. One of the pics I was roughly 9 years old, and the other I was 22 or 23! Got to love those FAB witch boots (actually a shaped card) from Paper Popsicles! Those great papers are from the latest Art Freckles kit!

It was such a FUN weekend over at ART FRECKLES, cropping away during National Card Making Day. Their "Get your Spook On" crop was LOADED with fun challenges and I was able complete each one! I even won the QUEEN OF THE CROP....how exciting! Check out my new blinky!!
