Walk for The Cure

I make my Aunt a page for her album every year. I just completed this one for her last walk for the cure. She is a survivor, 6 years now..... I hope to scrap many more pages for her "survivor" album!

Theme Challenges, Crackle Paint & Birthdays

Paper Popsicles select a "Theme" every month for their fun challenges! This January, the theme is "Firsts". I participated in two of the challenges thus far, these are the resulting layouts!

This page, along the same theme was an absolute scraplift from DT JackieG at Paper Popsicles. Her page was so amazing, and beautiful... that I couldn't help but attempt to make one myself for my friends' baby album. It uses products from the "Mini Kit" which is soooo not mini!

And yet another birthday page with this great kit!

I'm posting this photo especially for my friend "Lambcrop" who bought some crackle paint and wondered what to do with it! Here are some Costco recycled olive jars and some smaller recycled lotion jars. I painted the lids with crackle paint then applied liquid glass to smooth it out! I supposed a modge podge would also work. Then I glued some Prima flowers and embellies, added a few stickle dots....and voila....some pretty flower and button jars for my scraproom!

Art Freckles is hosting a USE YOUR STASH contest

An absolutely great site to frequent! I am loving it at Art Freckles! This is my first layout for their "Use Your Stash" contest! I had a few items on the list, large brads, photo corners and colored ink! I hadn't a clue what "gafer tape" was though, and wasn't able to find some pre 2008 paper! Good to know that most of my paper is recent.....although it did take me 2 days to sift through it!

Just finished up some Valentine Cards for a swap at Paper Popsicles.!!!! Goodies from my Swap partner at Art Freckles came in handy too!

These first four cards were made using the awesome kit from lovebugscrapbooking.

These next few birthday cards were made using the yummy papers in the latest Paper Popsicles Mini Kit.

These next few were made based on a sketch provided in Challenge 1 over at The Scrap City.

Family Album

I was inspired to finish this album I started last year by the "Family" themed crop held at Scrapbooking4less this past weekend! I was able to use one of the many amazing Paper Popsicles kits. In fact, the card kit this month at Paper Popsicles includes some of the yummy die cuts!!

This album is a family album and the photos taken between 2003 and 2007.

Crazy Silly Friends

Happened to have my camera at work, set the timer to take a pic of myself and one of my very best friends! We were smiling, waiting for the flash, then at the last second we both decided to make a crazy silly face...completely unexpected... We had a good laugh at this ridiculous photo, I couldn't help but scrap it!

A White Christmas

I took some photos Christmas Eve with all the big white snowflakes falling from the sky! I just couldn't help to take some from the large windows at my inlaws! This is a photo of the tree just outside the family room window. When I started dating DH, this tree was shorter than I was!
