~ A Very Productive Cyber Crop at SNS ~

This is a pretty long post, lots of new projects to share with you all!

I started off the cybercrp creating some cards. The challenge was to stamp on your card! I came up with these four! A nice addition to my card box and a few more Christmas cards made!

This next set of cards was a challenge called "Lots of Cards". It's from a tutorial, go check it out!!! To give full credit where credit is due...I would love to thank Nathalia for posting this amazing tutorial on her blog http://funkyphreshpapierkreations.blogspot.com/2007/07/quick-cards_08.html I loved this, easy to make cards with complete instructions! Just add your own embellies!
This next page is one I made for my Book of Me. The challenge was to write a poem, like you would do with "magnetic poetry". Audrey provided a link to a great site to play on and I came up with a poem (well sort of!). I am a nurse not a poet!!!

KimmyS provide a wonderful sketch challenge! I chose to scrap my DD's close up photo using a kit I had from lovebugscrapbooking! The colors were just perfect for her bright cheery attitude and huge smile!

This next card was for the monochromatic card challenge! Using shades of white and some new cuttlebug folders, this is what I came up with! Added some stickles and Kaiser Pearls and voila...another Christmas card!

This next one was for the "blurry photo" challenge. The halloween photo here is a copy of a copy....not as blurred as I wanted it...but blurred none the less. It is DH and I in our dating years, ready for a Halloween party!

Then this next little project is one of my favorites! My Dad was kind enough to surprise me with an email full of Halloween pics from long ago! These are of myself and my siblings in costume ready for Trick or Treating! I have more of my toddler years but those will be for scrapping another day! The album is my first "clear" album and it was made from the thick acrylic/plastic packaging for toys. You know the kind you fight with until you give up and get scissors!!! The album size is 4x4.

This next card was made with cardstock scraps!

For the magnet challenge, I used old beat up magnets from my fridge! The kind that kind of cling to the side from ambarassment!!! I covered them, inked them, and embelished them! The first one reads "Spread your wings" then I had a second thought and the next one reads "Don't fly too far". My DD joined in this one and made herself a clipboard magnet for her school locker! I am definately on the lookout for more promotional magnets to cover up!!!

A black and white card challenge yielded this creation!

This canvas is the result of a creative challenge to "Scrapbook a Canvas". I inked the entire canvas with walnut ink, printed off a recent 5x7 photo of myself and distressed the edges with white MM paint. The flowers are Bazzill and Prima, the chipboard is Fancy pants and painted as well! Rub ons are Daisy D and found in my scrap box, I stickled them to add sparkle and color! Scrap lace and tiny MM alpha letters finish it up! I had never done anything like this so I was "challenged" and I really had fun making it!!!

This Buccaneer Bones page was inspired by an Ad posted by KimmyS. I went with the "pirate" for inspiration!

This last page is a scraplift with a twist! I chose a gorgeous layout by KimmyS in the SNS gallery and this is the result!

Now go on!!! Check out the gallery over at http://www.sugarnspicescrapbook.com/ , all of the ladies have been busy this past weekend! The board has some wonderful monthly challenges, and the kits are wonderful!
Thanks ladies for putting on such a fun filled, creative and interesting crop!!!
